Heather Correa, owner of These Two Girls LLC, visualized the Rain or Shine Kids protective blanket design after the birth of her first daughter Ava.  Finishing a nutrition degree from Bastyr University, Heather taught wellness/nutrition to educators, new moms, and children - always stressing the importance of being outside to good health for both parents and babies.  When Ava was born Heather longed to be outside everyday and wanted to find a beautiful cozy blanket to protect her baby from the elements. This piece of gear was no where to be found, but Heather knew it should be available for active parents. Well, life became busy and when Heather’s second daughter Lola was born and still no cool protective blankets were available, she decided it was time to take action. The first Rain or Shine Kids all weather WooBee blanket was sewn with friends on the kitchen table in October 2005 and the Correa girls have been outside and toasty warm ever since.
