In 2008 Cammie started a company, Eco-kids. She had been working as a nanny for 15 years and was looking for a new outlet. She wanted to be around children – watching them learn, create and discover.  

It began with the homemade dough recipe Cammie's mom made for her as a child.  When she became a nanny, she made it for “her kids” and when she became a mom, she made it for her son, Jack. She realized the need for safe and natural art supplies, so her and her husband began packaging the “eco-dough” and selling it at farmers markets.

They meet wonderful families and friends that shared this philosophy.  It was an incredible experience and showed them that more people were interested in natural art supplies as a creative medium for their children. Today they make and offer art supplies for creative play the natural way.  Eco-kids products are environmentally friendly and designed with the most natural, sustainable and reusable materials.
