MasterPieces Puzzle Company, doing business for 10 years, was founded by David Rolls, a former professional baseball player. David’s parents returned from a vacation in Alaska in 1988 with the idea of creating souvenir jigsaw puzzles of vacation destinations, events, and regional themes.  David began in-depth analyses of the jigsaw puzzle market during his off-seasons. David retired from professional baseball in 1995 and with a loan from his parents he started his own puzzle company.

For more than 10 years they have used recycled paper and board in all products. Now they also use soy based printing inks and 100% water-based coating. Green is the most important piece in every puzzle from MasterPieces.
